Parts Advisor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Parts Advisor to join the Parts department at our Lloyd Jaguar Land Rover, York.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our thriving aftersales team, ideally someone with previous experience working as a Parts Advisor within a dealership. However, we would also consider candidates who have automotive industry knowledge in a similar role with another franchise or specialist parts company.

Salary: Basic salary with OTE £30,000

Hours: 45 hours per week plus weekend rota

Role responsibilities:

• Responsibility of the stores department.
• Stock organisation to support business productivity levels.
• Administration associated to all daily parts activities.
• Maintain standards and quality of parts storage to ensure limitation of damage.
• Provision of appropriate housekeeping of the department and the safeguard of inventory and property.
• Management of efficient stock levels.
• Ordering of parts.
• Collaboration with suppliers.

The ideal Parts Store Advisor will have the following skills and experiences:

• Experience as a Parts Store Advisor within the motor industry.
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
• Self-motivated
• IT Literate
• Good head for numbers / remembering codes
