Service Advisor

Lloyd Landrover Kelso enjoyed exceptional business growth in 2024, to continue this trend we are now recruiting an additional Service Advisor in support of our expanded Aftersales activity.

Experience is preferred; however, candidates with transferable skills will also be considered.

Lloyd Landrover Kelso will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to work in an outstanding, modern facility, in a progressive environment. The quality and experience of the person we recruit will be reflected in the overall reward package but an OTE in excess of £30,000 should be expected.

Hours: Monday –Friday 08:00-17:30 with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break. Working 1/5 Saturdays 09:00-12:30 paid at an overtime rate.

Role responsibilities:

• Dealing with all customers in a professional, prompt and courteous manner, portraying a positive first impression of the Service Department.
• Advising on technical queries/issues.
• Booking vehicles into the department for work to be carried out, informing customers of the progress of their vehicle.
• Sell customer repairs/parts etc., and finalising the invoice on completion.

An ideal Service Advisor will hold the following skills and experiences:

• Be highly motivated, with a proactive and professional approach to customer service.
• Have excellent relationship building skills developed in a busy, face to face retail environment.
• Bring valuable excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Have a confident and engaging telephone manner, ensuring a friendly tone, clear communication and active listening.
• Demonstrate professionalism at all times. 
• You must be IT literate (PC, Microsoft and web literate), and hold a full UK driving licence.
