With over 120 kids involved in this Sunday’s All Star Football Academy Tournament, the day has been seen as a roaring success. Hundreds crowded down on a foggy, wintering morning to watch goals, giggles and most importantly, fun!

“We (Lloyd Land Rover Ripon) were thrilled to see so many children and supporters down at the tournament. It’s so great to see so many people down on such a chilly morning watching the kids have a great time, all walking away with their own medal having played lots of exciting football!”

Thankfully the weather held, although bitterly cold the fans were there to cheer on the youngsters in what was a very well organised and supported event.

“I attended the football tournament at Rossett Sports Centre yesterday morning with the Hampsthwaite and Birstwith U10s, helping Hugh with a bit of coaching and support. Really enjoyed the tournament, very well organised and enjoyable for parents, coaches and kids.”

The kind words have been flooding in to congratulate Christian and his coaches at the All Star Football Academey.

“I’m thrilled with how the tournament has gone, we couldn’t have asked for more from the coaches, the kids and the sponsors. Everyone has been brilliant today and we will look to offer more events going forward.”

The Academy set up in 2014 by Fox and the purchase of the Land Rover Ripon by the Lloyd Motor Group in 2016, the link up was a perfect fit. Through the sponsorship deal, the opportunity for All Star Football Academy Tournament came about.
