It was a Knockout at Lloyd Blackpool – Raising funds for Cash for Kids
Date posted: 28 June 2017
A team of 8 volunteers from Lloyd Blackpool BMW & MINI took on the It’s A Knockout challenge organised by Rock FM’s charity Cash for Kids.
Team Lloyd competed in various challenges and made an excellent start with a promising first-round performance, then it all went downhill from there! With lots of foam and water being used, our team never really proved to be much of a threat to the leaders but lots of fun and laughs were had along the way.
The event was organised by Rock FM’s charity Cash for Kids who are Lloyd Blackpool’s chosen charity. Cash for Kids provides a helping hand to disabled and disadvantaged children across Lancashire. Each year they hope to raise thousands of pounds for grants to children’s charities, individuals, and many other causes.
Daniella James, Customer Relations Manager for Lloyd Blackpool commented, “The whole day was so much fun. We took on giant inflatables, tested our minds with logical games and held our nerves on challenges requiring balance and poise, but it all went out the window when water and foam was added to the mix! Although we didn’t win the team thoroughly enjoyed themselves, whilst helping to raise funds for a great charity.”
A massive thank you to everyone who sponsored us, we raised over £500 for Cash for Kids. Here are some photos of the day for your entertainment.
