Lloyd Kia is delighted to announce that Kia UK has been named the inaugural winner of the National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA) ‘Green Manufacturer of the Year’ Award.
The ‘Green Manufacturer of the Year’ Award recognises the important steps taken by a car manufacturer to work closely with its dealer network and assist retailers in meeting the demand for alternative fuel vehicles.
The Kia EV6 has been named the 2022 ‘Car of the Year’ at the prestigious Car of the Year (COTY) awards, marking the first time in history the award has been won by a Korean car manufacturer.
The innovative all-electric crossover, which is available from £40,945 from Lloyd Kia, was voted the overall winner by a 59-strong jury of highly respected motoring journalists from 22 European countries.
As well as Car of the Year, it has been named ‘Electric SUV of the Year’.
The all-new Kia Sportage has won the ‘Family SUV’ category in the prestigious Women’s World Car of the Year (WWCOTY) awards, Lloyd Kia is proud to announce.
A highly respected team of 56 female motoring journalists from 40 countries spanning five continents reviewed the most prominent family-friendly SUVs to launch during 2021, with the Sportage drawing praise across multiple areas to win the coveted award.
Kia has scooped more award wins for the Sorento and Picanto at the 2022 Company Car Today CCT100 Awards. This is the second consecutive year both cars have won their respective categories, Lloyd Kia is proud to announce.
The seven-seat Sorento SUV, which is available with Hybrid, Plug-in Hybrid or Diesel power, picked up the ‘Large SUV’ win. Judges praised its business credentials and noted the PHEV model’s low CO2 emissions (from 38g/km) and usable 35-mile electric range.
The Kia Ceed hatchback has been named ‘Used Mid-Sized Car of the Year’ at the 2021 Car Dealer Used Car Awards.
Judges – including Mr Wheeler Dealer, Mike Brewer – take into account a huge range of factors when handing out honours, above all which cars up to three years old offer the best peace of mind. The Ceed was said to have disrupted the mid-size sector while being hugely confident and competent.'
Lloyd Kia is delighted to announce that Kia has picked up two category wins at the annual What Car? Electric Car Awards, for the Kia EV6 and the e-Niro.
The EV6 has won the ‘Readers’ choice’ award, a category in which the EV6 was voted the most exciting and highly anticipated upcoming EV by readers of What Car? magazine. The e-Niro earned the title of ‘Best electric small SUV’ for the second year running.
Kia models have picked up a slew of awards at the 2021 Auto Express Driver Power new-car survey, as voted by thousands of real car owners.
Dominating the small car classes, honours for ‘Best city car’ have gone to the Picanto and ‘Best supermini’ to the Rio. This is the second year running that both cars have earned their respective class wins in the Driver Power survey. The Ceed was also top of its class, winning the ‘Best compact family car’ category.
