Lloyd Carlisle MINI continues to support local charity Eden Valley Hospice
Date posted: 30 October 2017
Lloyd Carlisle MINI continues to support local charity, Eden Valley Hospice, with the MINI Countryman, donated to the Hospice last year, making an appearance at the Lake of Lights Memorial Event which took place at Talkin Tarn earlier this October.
During the evening event, the tranquil setting of Talkin Tarn was transformed by hundreds of lights on the lake and in the surrounding woodland, each light representing a cherished memory of a relative, friend or loved one no longer with us. The symbolic event provides the local community with the opportunity to reflect and remember in a peaceful setting, with each light personalised with a special message before being placed on the floating platform.
Lloyd Carlisle MINI donated the use of a brand new MINI Countryman to help support children, young adults and families around the county in November last year. The vehicle is currently being used by Outreach Workers and Nurses at Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice, to provide care, support and activities in the family home, and extend the range of services provided by the charity.
Paul Temple, Brand Manager at Lloyd Carlisle MINI, said: “We are delighted to continue our support for Eden Valley Hospice, a local charity which is close to our hearts and has provided invaluable support to so many people in our local area throughout the years.”
Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice provides care, support and activities to children and young adults with life limiting illnesses. All of the care and support is extended to the children and young adults families, friends and carers.
