Lloyd Carlisle MINI sponsors Eden Valley Hospice Colour Run

This is the third year in a row that Lloyd Carlisle MINI has sponsored the event, and every year it keeps getting better.
Paul Temple, brand manager at Lloyd Carlisle MINI said: “We are delighted to have sponsored the Eden Valley Hospice Colour Run for the third year running. The event is great fun for all ages, and it fits in really well with the MINI brand.”
This year, the team from Lloyd MINI handed out MINI branded headbands to eager runners, before heading over to the pink paint stand where they took on their role as paint throwers.
More than 1,400 people took part in this year’s Colour Run. Hundreds more people who came along to watch the event and cheer on all of the runners. This year was the first time the Hospice have added a foam station to the event, along with six colourful paint stations.
The Colour Run is one of the largest fundraising events hosted by the Hospice and it has a mass appeal as it is suitable for everybody. It also provides the local community with a fantastic way to come together and help the care, support and activities provided by Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw.
The money raised from the event will help Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw to provide the highest standards of care, support and activities to local adults and children with life limiting illnesses. This care and compassion is extended to all of the patients’ families, friends and carers.
