Exterior Design
With the black roof frame⁠ (Optional on Match Pro), C-Pillar and stepped roof, the new ID.4 offers you plenty of scope to create a shining exterior with your desired colour choice. This is a colour signature that plays with contrasts. Just like the ID.4 itself.

Interior Design
The interior of the new ID.4 is so intelligently and spaciously designed that it offers you and your family an impressive sense of space. You notice this the moment you get in: plenty of legroom, a variable centre console and comfortable seats. This is rounded out by a central touch display of 32.7 cm (12.9 inches) together with a multifunction steering wheel featuring touch operation and vibration feedback. The background lighting in your chosen colours emphasises the lounge character. With no centre tunnel, the floor in the rear is completely flat, which makes for additional space to emphasise the inspiring dimensions.

Charging
Charging your Volkswagen ID. model is now even more convenient: with Plug & Charge, the new standard for convenient charging. Simply drive up to the Plug & Charge charging station and insert the cable. Log in, charge, pay – it all takes place automatically. You can continue your journey free of stress.

ID. Sound
How quiet an electric car is depends entirely on the vehicle. To make road traffic safer, your ID.4 is quieter on the inside up to a speed of 18 mph and can be heard a little more clearly outside. This makes it more noticeable for pedestrians. The futuristic composition emphasises its visionary identity and simultaneously provides an artificially generated vehicle noise as an audible indication of the almost noiseless electric drives for pedestrians and cyclists.

Special Features

Panoramic sunroof

The ID.4 offers an optional with a panoramic glass roof which is an eye-catching feature with its enormous glazed area extending over practically the entire width of the roof.

Heat Pump

In the fully-electric ID.4, an optional heat pump ensures energy-efficient heating of the interior. This requires less power from the battery. The benefit: greater range in winter.

IQ. Light

The ID.4 thinks for itself. A shining example: the stylish IQ.LIGHT LED matrix headlights, available as an option. Thanks to dynamic main-beam control, these headlights shine while driving without dazzling other road users.

Voice assistant

Avoid getting distracted by buttons or switches while driving. Keep your eyes on the road and easily control the radio, navigation system or your phone using intuitive voice commands. Just say “Hello, ID.” and the system will understand you.

AR Head-up-Display

In the ID.4, you have an overview of everything that matters. The augmented reality head-up display, standard on GTX Edition, optional on Match Pro, projects important information directly into the field of view of the windscreen.

Driver Assistance Systems

At Volkswagen, IQ.DRIVE stands for all intelligent driver assistance systems. The Side Assist lane change system can alert you to dangerous lane changes. An LED lamp in the exterior mirror shows you when a vehicle is in your blind spot or approaching quickly from behind.

Park Assist Plus

If you opt for Park Assist Plus with memory function, part of the Driver Assistance Pack Plus, your ID.4 can detect suitable parking spaces, up to a speed of 24 mph, Park Assist Plus permanently searches for suitable parallel parking spaces. Up to a speed of 12 mph it also searches for parking bays.

Electric towing bracket

Does your hobby need extensive equipment? Do you have a lot to transport for work? No problem at all for the ID.4: the optional towing bracket is designed for loads up to 750 kg (unbraked) or 1,000 kg (braked).
