Accounts Apprentice

Lloyd West Cumbria Volkswagen & Kia – Accounts Apprentice

Permanent, Full Time, Monday to Friday

Reporting to the Retailer Accountant, duties will include the following:

• Checking and re-allocating nominal postings
• Coding of Purchase Invoices
• Credit Control 
• Completing and checking of mileage logs
• Ledger Maintenance – ensuring Sales and Purchase Ledgers are tidy
• Initiating Monthly Run and paying Inter Company Accounts
• Checking and allocating Manufacturer commission
• Stock counts
• Responsible for Petty Cash
• Daily Banking

Qualification: Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Level 3.

Applicants must possess the following:

• GCSEs grades 4 or above in English, Maths and one additional subject (or equivalent qualifications)
• Team player
• Dependable and punctual
• Attention to detail
• Ability to operate well under pressure
