Business Manager

An unique opportunity has arisen for a Business Manager to join the busy Sales department at our Lloyd Jaguar Land Rover based in Stockton.

We are seeking motivated and energetic candidates with experience in the motor trade. If you’re passionate about the industry and ready to bring your drive to a dynamic team, we want to hear from you!

Salary: Basic salary £30,000 + Bonus

Hours: 45+ hours per week

Role responsibilities:

• Developing and agree sales plans and budgets, including all cars, accessories, overheads and all related items, to achieve marketing, sales and financial targets.
• Delivering results to meet and where possible exceed agreed budgets.
• To implement effective policies and procedures to maximise sales opportunities.
• To inspire, provide leadership and effectively manage all staff to maximise productivity and meet or exceed sales and profit targets.
• To ensure delivery of excellent customer service within all areas of responsibility.
• To work effectively with all other key personnel within the retailer to establish and implement best practice and ensure our customers receive exceptional customer service.
• To ensure full compliance to FCA guidelines on the selling of financial services and products by all relevant staff.

The ideal Business Manager will hold the following skills and experiences:

• Experience within the motor industry at management level
• Commercial awareness and financial analysis
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
• Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to lead and manage the sales team
• IT literate with a full UK driving licence.
• Able to assimilate information quickly and provide considered responses.
• Strong work ethic and adaptable to change.
• Attention to detail and maintains good, accurate quality of work.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines to achieve the business needs.
• Able to react positively to organisational and market changes.
• You must be IT literate (PC, Microsoft and web literate), and hold a full UK driving licence.
