Lloyd South Lakes BMW/MINI – Customer Service Apprentice

Permanent, Full Time, Monday to Friday


We have a fantastic opportunity for you to kick start your career working with one of the most prestigious automotive brands.

This apprenticeship combines off-the-job training with on-the-job learning, and you will be supported at every step of the way. Our apprentices obtain a nationally recognised qualification upon successful completion of the programme.

The Role

This is a varied role where you will be covering the following areas:

Showroom Host Duties

•    Meeting and greeting customers face to face in the showroom.
•    Communicating with customers over the telephone / via email.
•    Administrative duties

Service Advisor Duties

•    Welcome customers to the service department and handle enquiries both in person and by phone.
•    Book vehicles in for servicing, repairs, MOTs, and maintenance.
•    Prepare job cards and liaise with workshop technicians.
•    Explain repair work, costs, and timescales to customers in a professional, friendly manner.
•    Manage warranty claims in line with BMW/MINI standards.
•    Promote service plans, accessories, and additional work where appropriate.

The Training:

Qualification: Level 2 Customer Service

Apprentices receive their off-the-job training at the state-of-the-art Manufacturer's Training Centre. This guarantees consistent training across the UK and enables our apprentices to study the most up-to-date products and technology. 

Applicants must possess the following:

•    GCSE grades level 4 or above in English, Maths and two other subjects (or equivalent qualifications)
•    Team player
•    Dependable and punctual
•    Attention to detail
•    Ability to operate well under pressure
