Health & Safety Advisor

We have a rare opportunity for a talented Health & Safety Advisor to join the Purchasing/Property department at Lloyd Motor Group based in Carlisle.

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 depending on experience + Company Car
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:00

Role responsibilities:

• Supporting HR, Heads of Businesses and sites across group on all Health & Safety matters.
• Working with sites in preparation for all Health & Safety audit requirements.
• Assisting with and submitting all insurance claims to group insurers.

An ideal Health & Safety Advisor will hold the following skills and experiences:

• Practical Health & Safety and Insurance knowledge.
• IOSH Managing Safely certified.
• Currently working towards NEBOSH Level 3 Health & Safety General Certificate or qualified. 
• Experience in the Commercial Industry.
• Motivated, with a proactive approach.
• Enjoy the challenge of influencing the success of the department.
• Customer relations experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and be well presented.
• Must be IT literate.
• Must hold a full UK driving license.
