In a class of its own
There are conventional sedans, and then there’s the new Volvo ES90. This car moves beyond convention to meet the needs of a modern family. Delicate lines flow from the bonnet and shoulders into a coupe-style silhouette with an aerodynamic edge. The hatchback-style tailgate makes it as easy to pack for a week-long getaway as the daily school run. The stretched wheelbase creates a poised stance on the road and more room in the cabin. And large wheels punctuate the proportions and make it easier to step inside.

Trim options
The car’s glossy black details add eye-catching dimension to the car’s exterior trim. Select Bright trim to change things up. This trim adds gleaming metallic accents on the lower door mouldings, front spoiler and rear diffuser.

Four wheel designs
Choose between four wheel designs in 20-inch, 21-inch or 22-inch sizes. One design features open spokes. The rest use sharp angles and hidden bolts to create the illusion of larger wheels with extended spokes. Glossy black inserts contrast beautifully with the wheel’s aluminium surfaces.

Performance silhouette
The new Volvo ES90 wasn’t designed to perform in a wind tunnel – it was made to turn heads. And yet, it’s our most aerodynamic car ever. A body-coloured shield guides air cleanly over the nose. Flush windows, door handles and glazing create an air-tight body. The coupe-style curve of the roofline slices through the air like the superstructure of a luxury yacht.
The car gracefully narrows at the rear to reduce drag. And the tilt of the rear windscreen and sharp angle of the spoiler direct air off the back.

High-Definition Pixel headlights
Our signature Thor’s Hammer LED headlights come standard. They cast a wide light pattern for excellent visibility and automatically switch between high and low beams as other cars approach. Upgrade to High-Definition Pixel headlights for even sharper night driving. 20,000 pixel modules can instantly rearrange the light pattern to reduce glare and avoid dazzling oncoming drivers. They adapt for up to five vehicles and three objects at once. As you steer into curves, they swivel to light the way. Look for the light sequence as you approach or leave the car – a sparkling display to mark every trip.

Spacious boot
Loading up for the big game? No problem. Weekly shop? Easy. Discounts at your favourite store? Go on. Real life demands real space, and in the new Volvo ES90, there's room for it all. The boot of your ES90 holds up to 424 litres. Its flat floor and wide opening make loading simple. Fold the rear seat backrests down to add space. Open and close the power-operated tailgate hands-free with a kick under the bumper. You can also use buttons on the tailgate and centre display.
