Financial Services & FCA Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Services & FCA Administrator to join Lloyd BMW/MINI based in Carlisle.

Salary: Basic Salary £36,000 
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:30

Role responsibilities:

As our FCA Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring all vehicle finance and insurance processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with FCA regulations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing vehicle finance applications and preparing finance documentation.
• Ensuring all finance and insurance paperwork is accurate, compliant, and completed before vehicle handover.
• Maintaining accurate customer records and audit trails in line with FCA, Consumer Duty, AML, and GDPR requirements.
• Liaising with finance providers, customers, and internal departments to secure approvals and resolve queries.
• Supporting Sales Managers with finance administration and monitoring outstanding documentation.
• Processing finance commissions, vehicle funding, and settlement requests.
• Carrying out compliance checks and supporting internal and manufacturer audits.
• Keeping up to date with regulatory changes and contributing to continuous compliance improvements.

An ideal Financial Services & FCA Administrator will hold the following skills and experiences:

• Previous administrative experience within the automotive industry, financial services, banking, or another regulated environment.
• Excellent organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
• A professional approach to handling confidential information.

Desirable:

• Experience working within a franchised motor retailer.
• Knowledge of FCA regulations, Consumer Duty, and vehicle finance processes.
• Experience using dealer management systems, such as Keyloop/Drive, and finance lender portals.
