Warranty Team Leader

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Warranty Team Leader to join the team at our Lloyd Land Rover site based in Houghton-le-Spring.

Salary: Basic salary £32,000 OTE £39,000
Hours: 40 hours per week

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the Warranty Administration team and provide guidance to branch-based warranty staff.
• Build strong manufacturer relationships to improve warranty policies and claim rates.
• Ensure claims are processed efficiently, accurately, and within required timescales.
• Develop manufacturer-specific warranty policies and procedures for claims submission.
• Train Service Managers, Engineers, and Warranty Administrators on warranty processes and requirements.
• Work with Dealer Principals and Service Managers to resolve branch warranty issues.
• Manage and resolve complex or aged claims with manufacturers.
• Maximise profitability across all areas of responsibility.
• Promote best practice and deliver excellent customer service through effective collaboration.
• Comply with the Company’s health and safety policy.

An ideal Warranty Team Leader will hold the following skills and experiences:

• Previous experience in an automotive management role.
• Must be able to prove a sense of urgency, energy and commitment to the role.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire a team to hit and exceed targets.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and customer service skills.
• Motivated, with a proactive approach to customer service.
• Enjoy the challenge of influencing the success of the Service department.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and be well presented.
