IT Support Field Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a IT Support Field Engineer to join Lloyd Motor Group based in North East.

Due to continued business growth and increasing demand across our sites in the North East, we are expanding our IT team and are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join us in this region.

While you’ll be part of our wider IT support team, your primary focus will be on maintaining and improving IT infrastructure and systems in the North East, where we have a ever growing presence.

Salary: Competitive 
Hours: Hybrid role - 08:30 - 17:00 Monday - Friday hours may vary depending on the needs of the business. 
Experience required: At least 3 years of experience as a field engineer, with preferred experience in franchise and motor trade IT infrastructure.

Role responsibilities:

• Provide on-site and remote IT support for escalated or infrastructure-related issues.

• Conduct site visits to maintain and support dealership IT systems and networks.

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot servers, network devices, end-user hardware, and dealership systems.

• Support IT projects including hardware upgrades, system rollouts, and new site setups.

• Monitor infrastructure health, perform backups, and proactively resolve technical issues.

• Liaise with third-party vendors and support cybersecurity incident response.

• Assist with user support tasks such as account setup, password resets, and service desk ticket management.
