Product Specialist and Digital Video Creator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Product Specialist and Digital Video Creator to join Lloyd Volvo based in Carlisle.

Working with our Sales Managers and Marketing team, you will be creating standout digital content that drives sales. Using a combination of Photo, Video and Copywriting technology, you will ensure our cars are presented to an expert level.

Candidates must be confident in speaking on camera, as you’ll regularly record voice-overs to deliver engaging and accurate vehicle descriptions for our customers. 

Salary: £12.75
Hours: 39+ hours per week

Role responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive technical explanations of Volvo vehicles to customers, covering features, technology, connectivity, and digital services.
• Support both the Sales and Aftersales departments by providing product expertise and assisting with technical customer enquiries.
• Conduct vehicle handovers for new and used vehicles, ensuring customers fully understand the operation, features, and connectivity of their vehicle.
• Assist customers with the setup and use of in-car technology, including web connectivity, apps, infotainment systems, and digital services.
• Create engaging video presentations of used vehicles for the dealership website and online marketing platforms.
• Support dealership promotional activities, events, and product launches through demonstrations, presentations, and customer engagement.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Volvo products, technology, software updates, and industry developments to provide accurate and professional advice.
• Work closely with the Sales and Service teams to enhance the overall customer experience and promote customer satisfaction.

An ideal Product Specialist will hold the following skills and experiences:

• Be a great communicator, both written and verbally. In this role, you need to be confident speaking and appearing on camera/video across social media.
• Interest in Video and Photography.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Able to work under pressure independently and as part of a team.
• Self-Motivated, with and positive and energetic attitude.
• Experience with Adobe Suite, WordPress/Magento, and video editing software (After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or Premiere Pro) is desired but not essential.
