Vehicle Progressor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Progressor to join the sales team at our busy Lloyd BMW/MINI retailer based in North Tyneside. 

Salary: £28,177
Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:30

Role responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day vehicle movements around the site and compound, ensuring vehicles are where they need to be when required.
• Carry out regular compound runs to keep vehicles moving efficiently through the preparation process.
• Ensure prep vehicles are readily available and accessible for technicians, helping to minimise time spent locating vehicles.
• Take ownership of battery charging across new and used vehicle stock, ensuring vehicles are maintained and ready for use.
• Monitor vehicle battery levels and identify vehicles requiring charging to help prevent unnecessary battery replacements.
• Support the smooth and efficient flow of vehicles through the preparation process.
• Work closely with the Prep team and Technicians to ensure vehicles are available at the right time.
• Help reduce avoidable downtime and battery-related costs by proactively managing vehicle movements and charging requirements.
• Maintain an organised and efficient vehicle compound, ensuring vehicles can be located and accessed easily.
   

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences:
•    A self-starter who takes pride in their work and manages their own workload
•    Comfortable in a fast-paced retail environment
•    Good knowledge of vehicles with a strong eye for presentation and detail
•    Happy to be hands-on and flexible in approach
•    Organised, reliable and able to work well as part of a small team
•    Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
•    Experience in vehicle valeting, preparation or presentation
