What does winning this award mean to you?

"This award personally means to me that I have grown and shows how far I’ve come, not just with skills but in my confidence and mindset too."

What inspired you to pursue an apprenticeship at Lloyd Land Rover?

"I’ve always loved cars, so the idea of working with them sounded amazing. I also love working with customers, so for me it was the best of both worlds."

Looking back, what has been the most valuable lesson you’ve learned as a Sales Admin Apprentice?

"The most valuable lesson is perseverance. There will be challenges along the way but staying consistent and not giving up makes a real difference."

In what ways have you grown or developed since starting your apprenticeship?

"Since starting my apprenticeship, my focus and determination have grown."

Which skills do you feel you’ve improved the most during your time in this role?

"I have improved on time management since the workplace is very fast paced, this taught me the skill of prioritising tasks and completing day to day deadlines."

Can you recall a moment when you realised you had made significant progress or improvement?

"I made significant progress when Andrew [Robinson, Lloyd Land Rover Carlisle Head of Business] held my first weekly catch up meeting after falling behind. As much as I was unsure at first, my college work significantly improved and having goals to complete each week kept me on track."

What advice would you give to someone considering an apprenticeship in the automotive industry?

"My advice would be to just go for it! It’s an amazing industry with great people to work alongside. There are so many opportunities to grow and progress, so you will never get bored."

As Eva continues to build her skills and confidence throughout her apprenticeship, we’re truly excited to see how her career unfolds.
