Lloyd Škoda announces Charity Partnership with Eden Valley Hospice

Lloyd Škoda is delighted to announce its partnership with local charity, Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw.

Eden Valley Hospice is a charity dedicated to providing specialist care for adults in north Cumbria who have life-limiting conditions. This compassionate care is delivered through an adult in-patient ward, day services, outreach programmes and through a dedicated patient and family support team. Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice, provides day-to-day care, support and activities to children and young people living with a life-limiting illness. Care is provided in a home-from-home setting, and each young person’s care is personalised towards their own needs. In addition, they also provide care for families, friends and carers. All the care the hospice provides to its patients and their families is free at the point of delivery.

As part of the partnership, for every service customer who completes a Škoda UK customer survey post visit, Lloyd Skoda will pledge £2 on their behalf to help support the hospice in providing their care.

Eden Valley Hospice Relationship Fundraiser, Emma Rogerson, commented:

“We are delighted that Lloyd Skoda has chosen to support Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice. This partnership means the world to us and makes a real difference to the families we care for throughout the year.

With the current challenges facing charities – including declining donations, rising demand, and stretched resources – support from local businesses is more vital than ever. It helps us continue providing essential care and building long-term resilience in our community. Each year, it costs over £5 million to run Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, with only around 20% of this funded by NHS grants. The remaining 80% relies on the generosity of our local community.
