Standard on every new Kia
There's nothing to add and nothing extra to pay.
A great car deserves the very best warranty

When you buy a new Kia from Lloyd Motor Group, you're not just getting a great car, you're getting seven years of confidence to go with it. Every new Kia comes with a 7 year manufacturer's warranty as standard. It's one of the longest on offer in Europe, and it isn't an optional extra you pay more for.
It stays with the car, too... If you sell your Kia while it's still within the warranty terms, the next owner picks up whatever time and mileage is left, which can make it a more attractive prospect when it's time to move on.
It's a big part of what Kia calls the Kia Promise, and it means more value for longer. Our teams are always happy to talk you through exactly what's covered and how it works.

A car battery is considered a consumable item, meaning it naturally experiences wear and tear over time. As a result, battery warranty cover can differ from the standard vehicle warranty and may apply for a shorter period.
Kia’s 7 Year warranty includes cover for 12V and 48V batteries for the first 24 months from the vehicle’s date of registration.
For Kia electric vehicles, the high-voltage battery is covered separately for 8 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. This provides additional reassurance and long-term protection for Kia EV drivers.
Clutch components are considered wear and tear items, meaning they naturally wear down over time through normal use. As a result, clutch repairs are not typically covered under a standard vehicle warranty, unless the issue is caused by a manufacturing or material defect.
Kia’s 7 Year warranty provides cover for clutch linings where there is a defect in material or workmanship. This cover applies for the first 24 months from the date of first registration or up to 12,500 miles, whichever comes first.
The warranty stays with the car, so a new owner benefits from whatever time or mileage remains, within the terms.
We recommend that the new owner registers with the MyKia App so that they receive all the Kia latest information.
The 7 Year warranty is included as standard on every new Kia, with nothing to add or pay for separately.
No. Like any manufacturer's warranty, it doesn't cover routine servicing, normal wear and tear, or damage from accidents or misuse. Some parts have shorter cover, as with the batteries and clutch above.
The 7 Year warranty covers repairs to faults caused by manufacturing or workmanship defects, which can include areas such as the engine, transmission and steering.
A late or missing service wouldn’t automatically invalidate the warranty. However, if a fault can be attributed to incorrect maintenance, that claim will be declined.
Please note: Kia UK do not maintain a centralised service record database, if the service record booklet for your car is incomplete you should contact the dealer that carried out the work or the previous owner (if applicable)
We would recommend the use of original Kia parts because if your car fails due to a non-genuine part being fitted, then a warranty claim may be rejected.
