Meet Teejay,
our Parts Manager at Lloyd Land Rover Ripon.
Teejay has been part of the Lloyd Land Rover Ripon family for almost a year now and has taken the role into his stride, quickly becoming an incredible asset to the business.
Responsible for overseeing all Ripon Land Rover part operations, Teejay, and his team aid Lloyd customers in all their parts and accessories needs, driving sales and strive to provide every customer with a first-class customer experience.
We caught up with him to see how he was finding his new role so far….
Tell us Teejay, how are you finding your new role?
“It is definitely a new challenge as I have never been in a management position before, but I am really enjoying it. Like any management position, naturally there is more responsibility but also with it, a lot of reward. I am lucky to have a fantastic team around me, who work tirelessly to provide our customers with the best service we can.”
Tell us about your career at Lloyd so far.
“In one word- Amazing. The support I have received from all departments, Management, and Senior Group Management since starting this role has been incredible. There is such a positive and welcoming atmosphere at Lloyd, that its genuinely a pleasure to come to work each day. I am proud to be part of such an emerging and admired company.”
Can you talk us through a typical day in your role as a Parts Manager?
“A typical morning in the Land Rover Ripon Parts department consists of ensuring everything is organised for the day ahead. This includes finalising the delivery routes, verifying invoices, putting together deals for our trade customers, checking the trade club daily for any updated offers or news, making sure we have the correct levels of stock and then taking orders. That is just a small bit of my day.”

We are always encouraged to get involved with training opportunities were possible, with the full support of the Lloyd Land Rover team. This helps ensure we are as knowledgeable as we can be on both the brand and product to be able to deliver a first- class service on every visit.”

What is the best advise you to have ever been given?
“Always look at the bigger picture.”
Tell us something about yourself that most people do not know.
“I am a dedicated Leeds United fan and love to watch matches whenever I can. On weekends I love to spend time with my fiancée and our two children, usually at the coast in our caravan. Cars have always been my passion so when I am not spending time with my family, I also like to assist my friend at drag racing competitions.”
