Trained Through the Kia Academy, Every Step of the Way

Every one of our team is on a genuine learning journey with Kia, not a box-ticking exercise, but ongoing training that keeps pace with the brand as it changes. Even our showroom hosts are working towards Kia Genius accreditation, for example Gracie our showroom host is currently progressing through the Kia Academy towards Genius status, while our sales executive Kat has already reached it.

In fact, the sales whole team has spent time on Kia's EV Master Class, deepening our teams expertise on the latest electric models. It means whoever you speak to at Carlisle Kia, you're talking to someone genuinely up to speed.

Our Sales Team are Motability Scheme, Corporate and EV Experts

Our sales team are Motability trained and EV experts through the Kia Academy, so whether you're switching to electric for the first time or exploring the Motability Scheme, you'll get advice built on real product knowledge.

Members of our sales team have reached Kia Genius level, Kia's highest accreditation for product expertise, and the rest of the team are working towards this status. Four of our sales specialists have also completed Kia's PBV (electric van) training, alongside the whole service team.

Our Service Team and Master Technicians

Carlisle Kia is home to three Master Technicians, Kia's highest level of technical accreditation, reached only after years of manufacturer training and assessment. It means the most complex diagnostic and repair work on your Kia, including Kia EV and hybrid systems, is handled by someone who has proven their expertise directly to Kia, not just to us. The wider service team keep pace through continuous Kia Academy training, and most recently the whole team completed Kia's PBV training to support the growing range of Kia electric vans.

Investing in the Next Generation, Our Lloyd Kia Carlisle Apprentices

We currently have two second-year apprentices at Carlisle Kia, who regularly travel to Kia's multi-million-pound National Training Academy in Derby as part of their qualification. We're also actively recruiting for more apprentices right now, it's a great time to ask about joining the team.
