Lloyd Motor Group - the new name for Land Rover in the North East
Family-owned automotive retailer strengthens regional footprint, welcoming 165 new colleagues across three locations.
Lloyd Motor Group has announced the acquisition of three Jaguar Land Rover businesses from Lithia UK, further cementing its presence in the North East of England. The acquisition, effective from Friday 29th August 2025, includes:
- Stratstone Jaguar Land Rover Newcastle
- Stratstone Land Rover Stockton
- Stratstone Land Rover Service Centre, Houghton-le-Spring
As part of the acquisition, 165 experienced colleagues will join Lloyd Motor Group, ensuring seamless continuity of service for existing Jaguar Land Rover customers in the region.
