Kris Robson - Head of Business  
How have you found the transition to becoming apart of Lloyd Motor Group?
At first, I’ll admit, it was a bit nerve-racking and I felt a little apprehensive. But despite the challenges my team and I have really risen to the occasion. With the incredible help and support from the Lloyd team, the transition has been much smoother than I expected. We’re genuinely excited for what the future holds as part of the Lloyd family! 

What’s one fun fact most people don’t know about you?
When I first started out in the motor trade, my very first car was a salmon pink Nissan Micra — and I couldn’t have been happier with it!

What’s one piece of advice you'd give to someone new to the industry?
If I could give one piece of advice to anyone starting out in the motor trade, it would be this: Always strive to be the best version of yourself — in your work, your goals, and your mindset. Success in this trade doesn’t just come from skill or experience, it comes from attitude. A positive, can-do mindset will open more doors than anything else. Stay hungry, stay humble, and never stop pushing to be better every single day.

What has been a career highlight for you so far?
Winning numerous awards with Stratstone and Jaguar has definitely been a proud moment in my career. But even more rewarding has been watching my team grow stronger and stronger over time. Helping so many people develop into confident leaders themselves is something I truly cherish — it’s a reminder that success is not just about individual wins, but about lifting others up along the way.

What has been a standout moment for you so far during your time as a manager?
After 30 years of service with JLR, nearing retirement is definitely a standout moment for me. It’s been an incredible journey filled with challenges, growth, and achievements. I’m proud of the career I’ve built and the team I’ve had the privilege to lead along the way.

I enjoy the handover the most—it's such a rewarding part of the sales process. Seeing customers excited and happy when they collect their new vehicle makes all the hard work worthwhile. It's a great moment to share in their joy and ensure they leave with a great experience.

What’s your favourite feature or innovation in today’s Land Rover models?
My favourite feature is the Body and Soul seats—there’s really nothing else like them on the market. As someone who’s passionate about music, I love how incredible they sound. Plus, the built-in wellness programmes leave me feeling genuinely refreshed after long journeys. It’s an innovation that blends luxury, technology, and wellbeing perfectly.
