Jaguar offers three types of electric powertrains

All-Electric (BEV), Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV), and Mild Hybrid (MHEV). The All-Electric powertrain provides a fully electric driving experience, while the Plug-In Hybrid and Mild Hybrid powertrains offer a combination of petrol and electric power.

All-Electric (BEV)

Jaguar's All-Electric powertrain is a fully electric system that uses a high-capacity battery to power an electric motor. The battery is charged by plugging the car into a charging station or using a home charging unit. The motor provides instant torque and a smooth, silent driving experience. Jaguar's BEV powertrain is available in the Jaguar I-PACE, which has a range of up to 292 miles on a single charge.

Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV)

Jaguar's Plug-in Hybrid powertrain combines a petrol engine with an electric motor and battery. The battery can be charged from an external power source or while driving using regenerative braking. The petrol engine can also charge the battery. The electric motor provides additional power and can drive the car on its own for short distances. The petrol engine takes over for longer journeys or when extra power is needed. Jaguar's PHEV powertrain is available in the Jaguar F-PACE, E-PACE, and XE models.

Mild Hybrid (MHEV)

Jaguar's Mild Hybrid powertrain uses a small electric motor to assist the petrol or diesel engine. The electric motor is powered by a small battery that is charged during deceleration and braking. The motor provides a boost of power to the engine, improving fuel efficiency and reducing emissions. Jaguar's MHEV powertrain is available in the Jaguar XF, XJ, and F-TYPE models.

Jaguar Cars mild hybrid technology is available in four of its popular models: the F-PACE, E-PACE, XE, and XF. F-PACE: A luxury crossover SUV with a range of mild hybrid powertrains. E-PACE: A compact crossover SUV that features a mild hybrid system in its diesel engine. This system can improve fuel efficiency. XE: A compact executive car that offers a mild hybrid system. This powertrain can improve fuel economy. XF: A midsize executive car that comes with a mild hybrid system. This powertrain can also improve fuel efficiency. The mild hybrid technology in these Jaguar models improves fuel economy and reduced emissions while still delivering impressive performance.
