The latest technologies and material innovations also promote wellbeing in the refreshed cabin, provided by one of the most sophisticated interior air quality technologies in its class** – Cabin Air Purification Plus. Tactile material options include non-leather UltrafabricsTM and KvadratTM textile seats to provide a new dimension of modern luxury3.

Geraldine Ingham, Managing Director, Range Rover, said“The original compact luxury Range Rover for the city is even smarter and more sophisticated than its predecessor. The cabin is reductive and serene, with new materials and colourways for effortless luxury. A single curved glass interface and clean air technology allows clients to enjoy the calm and tranquility that is the hallmark of a Range Rover.”

DESIGN

New Range Rover Evoque – the original compact luxury SUV for the city and beyond – has the charisma to lead by example, with a perfectly proportioned exterior and exquisite finishes. Its unmistakable Range Rover DNA is found in its reductive design, sophisticated detailing and crafted interior.

The exterior is defined by Range Rover reductionism, beautiful surfacing and chiseled detailing – including new Pixel LED Headlights1 with the latest front and rear signature graphics. A new interior design puts technology at the core, with an elegant new 11.4-inch Pivi Pro2 curved glass touchscreen in the centre of the dashboard.

Prof Gerry McGovern OBE, Chief Creative Officer, JLR, said: “Range Rover Evoque’s unique personality has put its indelible mark on the automotive landscape. Its sophisticated design and timeless sense of modernity continues to strike that all important emotional chord.”

New Range Rover Evoque clients have a choice of S, Dynamic SE and Dynamic HSE models, with Autobiography sitting at the pinnacle of the line-up and featuring a curated specification. Dynamic models command attention, with an assertive stance and Satin Burnished Copper accents. Autobiography takes sophistication to a new level with extended Satin Burnished Copper elements and 21-inch alloy wheels in Gloss Dark Grey with a contrasting diamond-turned finish.

Inside, the Autobiography features tactile Windsor Leather with a suedecloth headlining, the finest veneers and enhanced specification. Luxuries include heated and cooled massaging seats in the front and the option of an advanced Meridian Surround Sound SystemTM.

Clients can express their individuality with a comprehensive colour palette, with new hues including Arroios Grey, Tribeca Blue and Corinthian Bronze. A new contrast roof option of Corinthian Bronze is also available, while five new alloy wheel combinations add sophistication.

EXTERIOR DESIGN

New Range Rover Evoque builds on the original’s enduring and characterful appeal with a purposeful and precise evolution of its distinctive silhouette. The entire Range Rover family is a vision of modernity and timeless design – with Evoque at the top of its segment.

Professor Gerry McGovern OBE, Chief Creative Officer, JLR, said: “When Range Rover Evoque made its debut in 2010, it was unlike anything that had been seen before. It was the original compact, luxury SUV and the latest model continues that remarkable journey. This characterful vehicle combines refinement and charisma to create that all-important emotional connection that will turn heads and make people smile.”

The Evoque’s characteristic profile and coupé-like silhouette is typified by its fast roofline and rising waist, while its Range Rover DNA is instantly recognisable, from the Flush Deployable Door Handles to the floating roof. Outstanding volume and proportions are amplified by its pronounced shoulders and powerful wheel arches that, alongside 21-inch wheels3, combine to create a strong and dynamic attitude, while the latest grille design provides added sophistication.

Super-slim Pixel LED Headlights1 provide chiseled front detailing, complemented by sophisticated new Signature Daytime Running Light graphics, which feature subtle new sweeping animations when the vehicle is locked or unlocked.

Standard on Dynamic HSE and Autobiography1, this headlight option features three times as many LEDs as Matrix LED headlights and includes Adaptive Driving Beam technology. Each headlight features four pixel modules with 67 precisely controlled LEDs in each one to accurately adapt to the conditions and the road ahead to provide the most effective forward beam.

The sculpted aesthetic is accentuated by crisp new animated directional indicators, while super-red LED illumination at the rear creates a purposeful signature, and a striking black accent conveys a sense of visual width.

The Evoque Dynamic asserts itself with unique lower front and rear bumpers finished in Graphite Atlas. The purposeful stance is contrasted with new Satin Burnished Copper inserts on the gloss black bonnet vents, fender vent blades and air intakes. The stealthy theme is completed by Graphite Atlas bonnet and tailgate script.

The Autobiography sits at the pinnacle of the Evoque line-up, embodying the refinement and luxury synonymous with Range Rover. The flagship model features distinctive and elegant exterior design accents and a luxurious interior.

Distinctive details add sophistication, such as Extended Satin Burnished Copper accents and – for the first time – copper Range Rover lettering. Distinctive 21-inch alloy wheels in Gloss Dark Grey with diamond-turned contrast finish provide a contemporary exterior design.

INTERIOR DESIGN

Range Rover Evoque has a charismatic and sophisticated interior, with its reductive design creating a calm sanctuary for occupants. The horizontal architecture emphasises the feeling of space. Alongside a more steeply raked centre console, this gives the interior a sophisticated feel. With its unique blend of uncluttered surfaces and contemporary materials, this next-generation luxury compact SUV embodies Range Rover DNA.

The clean and captivating interior effortlessly blends advanced technologies with design excellence and the finest materials, with the new 11.4-inch curved glass interface of the latest generation Pivi Pro2 infotainment the focal point. Its clean design elegantly integrates advanced touchscreen technology with simple controls and everyday usability.

Convenience is enhanced by a large centre console that offers more space for everyday items than ever, thanks to the redesigned dashboard. In addition to the main under-armrest area, the position of the new Pivi Pro2 screen means additional space has been liberated in the front centre console area, where extra small item stowage and a Wireless Device Charger are found, while the doors can hold 1.5-litre water bottles.

Paul Hanstock, Interior Design Manager, Range Rover, said: “The chic interior of the Range Rover Evoque affords a greater sense of space, where refined finishes and the latest technology are seamlessly integrated. Our goal was to maintain the Evoque’s position at the leading edge of contemporary design and we truly believe we have achieved this.”

BOLD COLOURS AND AUTHENTIC MATERIALS

New Range Rover Evoque clients can express themselves with a range of exterior hues as part of an expanded colour palette, while there is a compelling choice of trims and materials to choose from inside.

The colour palette is refreshed with new exterior body colours, including Arroios Grey, Tribeca Blue and Corinthian Bronze, while contrast roof options include Narvik Black and Corinthian Bronze for more personalisation potential than previous models.

The exterior design is enhanced by a diverse range of alloy wheel designs, with a total of nine to choose from in a range of finishes. They are available in sizes up to 21 inches3, fitted exclusively to Evoque Autobiography with a sophisticated Gloss Dark Grey and diamond turned contrast finish.

Amy Frascella, Materiality Design Director, JLR, said: “To us materials should embody the essence of luxury, quality and sustainability. We placed a great deal of focus on the creation of refined, curated interior and exterior colour and material offerings for clients. New materials were designed and developed with different technical attributes in mind to achieve a more modern look and feel as well as bring continuity to the Range Rover brand in terms of our Materiality strategy.”

Range Rover Evoque interior materials

Range Rover Evoque is the only SUV in its class available with KvadratTM 4 wool blend fabric* - a luxurious, tactile and contemporary alternative to leather. Tactility with a contemporary twist is provided by the leather-free KvadratTM 4 wool blend and Ebony perforated Ultrafabrics™ seating option with polyurethane textile inserts. Inspired by bespoke tailoring, the wool blends are 58 per cent lighter than leather and provide a contemporary appearance and tactility.

The innovative textile has been subjected to rigorous in-house durability testing in the Range Rover materials lab to ensure it delivers customary tactility throughout the lifetime of the vehicle, going through 60,000 cycles of abrasion testing – equivalent of 10 years of use – together with UV testing capable of simulating three years’ exposure to harsh sunlight, in only one month.

The polyurethane textile is also responsibly produced, with 99 per cent of solvents recaptured and recycled in the production process, while waste water is also captured and reused. This ethos is reflected elsewhere in the cabin. Carpets made using Econyl nylon, which utilises recycled content from discarded fishing nets as well as consumer and industrial waste, delivers 90 per cent lower emissions during production compared to materials produced solely from oil.

The KvadratTM 4 seating option is finished in Ebony and available on Evoque Dynamic HSE and Autobiography. The KvadratTM 4 material has unique cooling and heating properties, amplifying its luxuriously tactile experience. Micro-piping on the leather-free seating options showcases the meticulous attention to detail while the perforation pattern is complemented by a new speaker mesh design, providing an elegantly unified appearance.

Range Rover Evoque Dynamic HSE and Autobiography models are offered with beautifully soft Windsor Leather, also featuring the new Diamond Herringbone perforation pattern. For S and Dynamic SE models, Grained Taurus leather features a more traditional feeling of luxury.

The sophistication of Evoque’s cabin is accentuated by new Moonlight Chrome finish on the steering wheel, centre console surrounds and additional detailing, while the choice of veneers includes Dark or Light Anodised aluminium or Shadow Grey Ash – depending on model. The new trim finishers and details elevate Evoque’s sense of sophisticated luxury.

REFINEMENT

New Range Rover Evoque provides customary Range Rover comfort and refinement, in a calm sanctuary that promotes enhanced wellbeing on every journey.
A suite of advanced technologies delivers superior refinement, including the latest cabin purification systems and chassis innovations, while a comprehensive choice of options packs enables clients to refine the Evoque to suit their needs.

ENHANCED CABIN AIR

New Range Rover Evoque now benefits from cleaner cabin air thanks to Cabin Air Purification Plus. Available for the first time on Evoque, it offers one of the most sophisticated interior air quality technologies in its class1 and is an enhancement on the previous system.

Available as part of the optional Comfort Pack, it features PM2.5 Filtration and CO2 Management which helps to promote wellbeing for the whole family, as well as heighten alertness for the driver by monitoring and controlling CO2 levels inside the cabin.

To activate the system, the driver presses the Purify button within Pivi Pro3 and the feature automatically senses, displays and reduces the PM2.5 level inside the vehicle. Once activated, Cabin Air Ionisation and CO2 Management are also engaged. CO2 Management detects the CO2 level inside and outside the vehicle and displays the airflow to show it actively reducing the amount of carbon dioxide present in the cabin. It does this by automatically reintroducing fresh external air when necessary.

Cabin Air Purification Plus also features Cabin Air Ionisation which combines nanoe™ X technology to combat pathogens2.

The system can be activated within Pivi Pro3 or switched on automatically when the Purify function is engaged. Drivers can also use the Exterior Air Quality (AQI) app4 to monitor outside air quality at their current location or use the navigation system to view the information at their destination via the Pivi Pro3 touchscreen.

For ultimate convenience, the cabin can be purged prior to a journey remotely using the smartphone app, so every trip begins with optimum interior air quality.

INVITING CABIN

Range Rover Evoque welcomes occupants with its reductive cabin and curated choice of material finishes and colour combinations. Three leather colours are available; depending on model, these include Ebony, Ebony and Cloud, plus Deep Garnet. There’s also the sophisticated leather-free wool blend KvadratTM 5 option with UltrafabricsTM inserts, finished in Ebony.

Range Rover Evoque S and Dynamic SE models feature 12-way electric front seats with driver memory, while Dynamic HSE models are fitted with 14-way front seats with driver memory and extended Windsor Leather. An electric steering column and optional fixed panoramic roof ensure an even more inviting environment.

Range Rover Evoque Autobiography features heated and cooled 14-way front seats with driver memory, for the ultimate comfort and most luxurious seating. Finished in exquisite Windsor leather as standard, the Autobiography is available with optional perforated UltrafabricsTM and KvadratTM 5 textile seats – a tactile fabric option with a distinctive new Diamond Herringbone perforation. A sliding panoramic roof6 and suedecloth headliner provide additional interior sophistication.

Configurable Cabin Lighting can be specified with the Evoque, offering a choice of 10 interior colours that allow occupants to personalise the interior with subtle lighting accents to the doors, console and footwells, while preset colour themes make it even easier to choose the perfect colour combination.

Range Rover Evoque offers a spacious interior, with the 591-litre loadspace accessed via the optional Powered Tailgate. With the rear seats folded, the capacity increases to 1,381 litres.

ADVANCED PIXEL LED HEADLIGHT TECHNOLOGY

Super-slim jewel-like Pixel LED Headlights7 provide chiselled front detailing, complemented by sophisticated new Signature Daytime Running Light graphics, which feature subtle new sweeping animations when the vehicle is locked or unlocked.

Standard on Dynamic HSE and Autobiography7, the intelligent headlight system features three times as many LEDs as the previous Matrix LED headlights and includes Adaptive Driving Beam technology. Each headlight features four pixel modules with 67 precisely controlled LEDs in each one to accurately adapt to the conditions and the road ahead, to provide the most effective forward beam.

Dynamic Bend Lighting uses speed and steering data to respond to the road ahead and illuminate dark corners and verges, while the high beam range can focus light almost half a kilometre ahead, for optimum visibility.

Able to cast shadows around four oncoming objects to help avoid dazzling other road users, Adaptive Driving Beam automatically adapts to vehicle speed, casting a wide beam at low speeds and a more intense, longer beam above 70km/h (43mph).

The Adaptive Front Lighting system automatically provides a different beam pattern based on the road conditions, with Country, City, Motorway and Wet/Adverse Weather modes adjusting the range, width and intensity of the beam patterns to suit the surroundings and conditions, while the Pixel LED system7 is also capable of traffic-sign dimming to reduce the reflective glare from road signs at night.

COMFORT-ENHANCING CHASSIS

Customary Range Rover ride comfort and refinement is provided by a suite of advanced chassis and suspension systems, with composed ride quality enhancing overall refinement.

New Range Rover Evoque maintains its composure on rough roads by smoothing out bumps with Adaptive Dynamics, an advanced chassis system that continuously varies the damping forces at each wheel. It does this by monitoring wheel movements 500 times per second, and body movements 100 times per second.

Driving characteristics can also be tailored to the driver’s preferences using Configurable Dynamics, which tunes specific elements of the chassis and powertrain to suit the road conditions or driving style.

TRAILOR-MADE COLLECTIONS

The Range Rover Evoque ownership experience is elevated by a range of option packs that combine key features, making it easier than ever to tailor the Evoque to a client’s preferred specification. They include:

CONNECTED TECHNOLOGY

New Range Rover Evoque is sophisticated and digitally connected. Design excellence and technological innovation work in harmony with the next generation of Pivi Pro1 infotainment.
The intuitive technology allows clients to control almost all vehicle functions using the curved glass display, assisted by a comprehensive selection of connected technologies for effortless travel.

Alex Heslop, Director of Electrical Engineering, JLR, said: “Infotainment in the Range Rover Evoque has been transformed with our electric vehicle architecture and Pivi infotainment. The advanced hardware and software means Evoque is more digitally connected than ever. Our customers can now benefit from a system as responsive and easy to use as a smartphone, which actually improves over time, thanks to Software Over The Air.”

ADVANCED PIVI PRO

New Range Rover Evoque employs state-of-the-art technology to deliver its Pivi Pro1 infotainment system. The latest generation features a new 11.4-inch curved glass touchscreen, which appears to float on the dashboard, and incorporates all core vehicle functions within its crisp new display.

The Evoque’s next-generation infotainment system was the subject of extensive testing and development, both digitally and physically with human testers, to reduce task and interaction time and deliver the most user-friendly experience.

The new Pivi Pro1 system allows drivers to control everything using the intuitive central touchscreen, and positions climate controls higher up inside the vehicle, closer to the driver, than they were before. For added convenience, additional controls in the permanently visible side panels include shortcuts for media and navigation, cameras and window demisters. Approximately 80 per cent of tasks can be performed within two taps of the homescreen.

Ensuring enhanced usability, controls for the climate, seating and audio volume are permanently available via sidebars on the screen, which provide immediate access and control either by sliding or simply tapping a finger, with trademark Pivi Pro1 flexibility and intelligence.

On entering the vehicle, drivers are presented with a Pre-Drive panel for fast and convenient control of commonly used features at the beginning of every journey, such as window demisters and the optional heated seats. When moving, the Pre-Drive panel disappears to reveal the familiar three-panel homescreen, which can be customised to suit individual preferences.

Drivers can also customise the way vehicle and journey information is presented using the 12.3-inch TFT Interactive Driver Display. The digital instrument panel complements Pivi Pro1 with a similar three-panel display, allowing customisation for everything from navigation instructions to vehicle journey data. In combination, the Interactive Driver Display and Pivi Pro1 deliver a superior user experience, with clear displays and improved usability.

While driving, an intuitive, optional full-colour Head-up Display reduces distractions by projecting essential vehicle and journey information directly into the driver's eyeline, supporting the Interactive Driver Display and main Pivi Pro1 infotainment screen.

New Range Rover Evoque makes smartphone connections effortless, with Wireless Apple CarPlayTM. For others, Wireless Android Auto® is also fitted as standard, along with a Wireless Device Charger, which is seamlessly integrated beneath the new Pivi Pro1 screen out of sight, meaning no trailing cables and no reduction in stowage space in the redesigned centre console space.

Pivi Pro1 is always connected and, with Software Over The Air3 technology, clients are able to download the latest updates at their convenience. With 80 per cent of the vehicle's total ECUs capable of wireless updates, Range Rover Evoque is able to update without a visit to a retailer.

Pivi Pro1 is also Wi-Fi Enabled with a Data Plan. Twin embedded eSIM technology and cloud-based architecture provide full access to a range of online apps5 integrated within the infotainment system, including Alexa2 and Spotify, and they can all be accessed without the need for a smartphone connection.

For pinpoint navigation, what3words is also integrated within Pivi Pro1. The clever addressing technology divides the globe into a grid of 3m x 3m squares, each assigned a unique combination of three random words to provide a what3words address. Without needing mobile connectivity, Pivi Pro1 enables drivers to navigate to a precise location by inputting just three words directly into the navigation system.

For customers with the plug-in electric hybrid (PHEV) engine, Pivi Pro1 makes it easier to use public charging networks; showing where charging stations are (where the information is available), if the charge station is currently available and the associated cost to charge. The system will also display charge status and enable drivers to choose between three driving modes to best suit their needs: Hybrid mode, Electric Vehicle (EV) mode and Save mode.

Using the Park and Pay app, which supports in-car payments, drivers can pay for parking using the vehicle touchscreen without having the correct change or even retrieving their smartphone.

AMAZON ALEXA

Amazon Alexa2 is fitted as standard with Pivi Pro1 and is seamlessly integrated. It offers effortless control over key vehicle functions using natural voice commands. The familiar Alexa2 experience is brought into the vehicle and provides voice interaction with Pivi Pro’s1 navigation and entertainment features such as Spotify, TuneIn and Deezer.

Use Alexa2 to set destinations or find points of interest en-route9, check the weather, make lists and set reminders, make calls and also interact with smart devices at home, while you can also interact with the vehicle remotely by using the Land Rover Remote Skill6 on an Alexa-enabled device.

REMOTE ACCESS

Smartphones users can also use the Remote App10 to check key information about their Evoque, including its fuel level, location, journey history, to lock or unlock the vehicle and even initiate the climate control through the Park Heat function to heat or cool the cabin before a journey.

For plug-in electric hybrid models, owners can check the level of remaining electric range, the charge status, charging time and set the cabin temperature through Pre-Conditioning, which uses the mains power rather than vehicle battery power.

MERIDIANTM SOUND SYSTEMS

A range of powerful MeridianTM sound systems is available, including the Meridian 3D Surround Sound SystemTM 7, which delivers high-fidelity music playback using up to 14 speakers and 750W of amplifier power for an immersive sound experience.

ADVANCED DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS

Range Rover Evoque includes a comprehensive suite of Advanced Driver Assistance features including Adaptive Cruise Control4 and Rear Collision Monitor with automatic braking.
The Rear Collision Monitor uses radars to monitor the area behind the vehicle, meaning the Evoque is primed to help reduce the severity of an impact for the occupants, while the optional 3D Surround Camera lets the driver see what is happening around the vehicle at speeds of up to 19mph, making manoeuvring and navigating difficult terrain simpler than ever.

Range Rover Evoque also offers one of the most sophisticated suites of camera technologies in its class8 with 3D Surround View, ClearSight Ground ViewTM 11 and ClearSight Interior Rear ViewTM 12 offering greater driver reassurance. First introduced in the Evoque in 2018, smart camera technology stitches together images of the area below the bonnet, while the latter provides an interchangeable rear view mirror and video feed, for enhanced rearward visibility.

James Sanderson, Lifecycle Chief Engineer, JLR, said: “Range Rover Evoque provides a compelling blend of electrified performance, manoeuvrability and dynamism in all situations. Our advanced plug-in electric hybrid will complete the average daily journey without the need for the petrol engine, meaning most everyday drives can be undertaken with zero tailpipe emissions. For everyone else, a range of fuel-efficient and powerful Ingenium engines with MHEV technology ensures our clients benefit from the latest engine innovations.”

P300e ELECTRIC HYBRID

New Range Rover Evoque is available with an advanced plug-in electric hybrid powertrain – the P300e. It combines a responsive Ingenium petrol engine with an 80kW electric motor, delivering effortless and hushed performance with enhanced fuel economy of up to 1.4l/100km (201.8mpg), and an electric-only range of up to 62km (39 miles) and CO2 emissions from 31g/km1.

The Evoque P300e combines a 200PS (147kW) 1.5-litre three-cylinder Ingenium petrol engine with a 109PS (80kW) electric motor integrated into the rear axle and is powered by a 14.9kWh lithium-ion battery (with a usable capacity of 12.1kWh) located below the rear seats. Performance and capability are uncompromised, with acceleration of 0-100km/h in just 6.4 seconds (0-60mph in 6.1 seconds).

The electric hybrid’s SAVE mode allows the system to recharge more effectively on the move when battery charge is being saved for a later part of the journey – at a steady 70mph, up to 80 per cent of the battery charge can be attained in just 90 minutes5.

DRIVER-SELECTABLE MODEL

Drivers can select from three driving modes to best suit their needs, whether they’re in the city or driving on the highway:

  1. HYBRID mode (the default driving mode) – automatically combines power from the electric motor and petrol engine. The operating strategy adapts to driving conditions and the remaining charge in the battery. Entering a destination in the navigation system enables the Predictive Energy Optimisation (PEO) function to intelligently integrate route and GPS data to maximise efficiency and comfort for the selected journey.
  2. EV (Electric Vehicle) mode – enables the vehicle to run solely on the electric motor using the energy stored in the battery, for quiet, zero-tailpipe emission journeys.
  3. SAVE mode – prioritises the combustion engine as its main power source, maintaining battery State of Charge at the chosen level. In SAVE mode, the vehicle uses a combination of regenerative braking and the engine, via the Belt-integrated Starter Generator, to charge the battery. The vehicle can recover up to 80 per cent charge in this mode.

ELECTRIC HYBRID CHARGING

The Evoque P300e is available as standard with rapid DC charging. Away from home using a rapid DC public charger, the vehicle can be charged from 0-80 per cent in as little as 30 minutes3, while using a 7kW AC charger at home will charge in around two hours from 0-100 per cent, ready for the next zero tailpipe emissions journey.

Clients can stay connected to their Range Rover Evoque electric hybrid via Land Rover’s intelligent Remote6 smartphone app. Whether at home or out and about, the app allows customers to monitor the vehicle’s charge status, ready the vehicle for a journey or even set a charging timer to take advantage of off-peak energy tariffs.

Owners can automatically pre-condition the battery and cabin temperature before starting a journey:  using mains power to do this when the vehicle is plugged in rather than drawing energy from the battery when you start driving maximises range and enhances occupant comfort.

INGENIUM PETROL ENGINES

The entry point to the petrol line-up is the advanced three-cylinder P160. It produces 160PS (118kW) and 260Nm of torque, delivering a compelling blend of performance and economy thanks to its lightweight construction and front-wheel drive set-up. Lively performance of 0-100km/h in 10.3 seconds (0-60mph in 9.7 seconds) is paired with a refined driving feel, thanks to its automatic eight-speed transmission which is offered as standard. Land Rover’s smallest engine delivers a fuel economy figure of up to 7.8l/100km (36.2mpg) and CO2 from 177g/km.1

Clients also have P200 and P250 options, all fitted with MHEV technology. The MHEV system works by harvesting energy that’s usually lost during braking or deceleration and stores it for later use through a Belt-integrated Starter Generator and an under-floor battery. It allows the engine to switch off at low speeds under braking to reduce fuel consumption, but also provides extra assistance for smooth and responsive acceleration.

The P200 offers swift responses, with 0-100km/h in 8.6 seconds (0-60mph in 8 seconds), CO2 emissions from 194g/km and fuel economy up to 8.6l/100km (from 32.9mpg). The P250 completes 0-100km/h in 7.6 seconds (0-60mph in 7 seconds), with CO2 from 195g/km and fuel economy up to 8.6l/100km (from 32.8mpg).

INGENIUM DIESEL ENGINES

Two four-cylinder Ingenium diesel engines are available, both featuring MHEV technology4. Using a belt-driven starter motor and battery pack, vehicles fitted with MHEV technology harvest energy normally lost under deceleration, feeding back to the vehicle’s 48-volt battery to boost the performance and deliver enhanced fuel economy.

The D165 with 163PS (120kW) and 380Nm of torque, delivers faster responses and performance and is capable of 0-100km/h in 9.8 seconds (0-60mph in 9.2 seconds). The engine is available with an all-wheel-drive automatic transmission or a front-wheel-drive manual with CO2 emissions from 156g/km and fuel economy of up to 47.3mpg (from 6.0l/100km).1

The more powerful D200 delivers 204PS (150kW) and 430Nm of torque for swift acceleration – 0-100km/h in 8.5 seconds (0-60mph in 7.9 seconds) – and a flexible and responsive drive, while CO2 emissions from 166g/km offer superior performance and CO2 levels than its predecessor.1

The Range Rover Evoque engine line-up comprises:

Electric Hybrid:

  • P300e – 309PS, 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol with electric motor, 540Nm of torque at 2,000-2,500rpm

EIGHT-SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

A smooth eight-speed automatic transmission has been selected to match the power and torque delivery of the three-cylinder engine and work seamlessly with the Electric Rear Axle Drive. As well as being 5kg lighter than the nine-speed transmission used in the other models, the eight-speed delivers enhanced refinement and shift feel. It’s an integral part of the hybrid system.
