Lloyd Blackpool Supports Cash for Kids Day 2025

On Thursday 1^st of May, the Lloyd Blackpool team proudly took part in Cash for Kids Day 2025!

Our Customer Relations Manager, Vicky, and Digital Merchandiser, Alex, teamed up with Cash for Kids Lancashire, taking to the roads in a branded Sunny Side Yellow MINI Cooper E to visit generous local businesses, schools, and nurseries who fundraised for this important cause.

This year’s Cash For Kids Day focused on Holiday Hunger, and funds were raised to help local children and young people across Lancashire who don't have access to food and activities during the school holidays.




The day began at Lloyd Blackpool MINI, where our team got into the spirit by hosting a Funky Tie Day, adding a splash of colour and fun to the showroom — all in support of Cash for Kids.

From there, the team began their journey to celebrate and thank local supporters:

Stop 1: Pavers, Preston



Their first stop was Pavers, who had generously donated £3,000, kicking off the day with an amazing start!


Stop 2: St Joseph's Primary School



The next stop was St Joseph’s Primary School, who had raised funds through completing a Walk Around the World challenge; Staff and pupils walked over one million steps collectively in one day!


Stop 3: Service Care Solutions



The team then headed to Service Care Solutions, who donated funds that had been raised through their employee poker chip scheme.


Stop 4: Middleforth Primary School



Stop 4 was Middleforth Primary School, who also took on the Walk the World challenge, achieving an amazing 692,800 steps as a school.


Stop 5: Inskip Preschool & Nursery



The final stop of the day was Inskip Pre-School & Nursery. Even the youngest supporters got involved! The children at Inskip completed 10,000 steps in their forest garden while learning about different countries.



Each stop showed the amazing generosity of local schools, businesses, and individuals, all coming together to raise money for Cash for Kids Day.

Thanks to everyone who took part across the county, enough funds were raised to support an incredible 4,295 children in Lancashire, helping provide food, activities, and care during the school holidays where it’s needed most.
