Lloyd Land Rover Supports Mission Christmas with 750+ Gifts

At Lloyd Land Rover North East, we would like to thank everyone who supported our Mission Christmas appeal in partnership with Seaham Hall.

Thanks to the generosity of our clients, local businesses and colleagues, we were proud to donate more than 750 gifts (approx.) to the Cash for Kids North East Mission Christmas campaign, helping to support disadvantaged children and young people across the region during the festive season.

Throughout the appeal, donation points at our Newcastle, Stockton and Houghton-le-Spring sites, along with Seaham Hall, were filled with new, unwrapped toys and gifts. The response from our community was incredible, with so many people getting involved to help ensure children across the region could experience the joy of Christmas morning. Our teams also joined in the festive spirit — on Christmas Jumper Day, colleagues at Lloyd Land Rover Newcastle donned their festive attire and donated toys to the Mission Christmas appeal.

One particularly special contribution came from nine-year-old Nancy at our Houghton-le-Spring site. With the help of local White Lion pub, Nancy raised over £500 to purchase gifts for Mission Christmas. After the loss of her father, Nancy dedicates much of her time to raising money for children less fortunate than herself. There were many stories like this across all our sites, and we couldn’t be prouder of our local community for coming together to support such an important cause.

On Wednesday, 17th December, donations from all participating sites were brought together, with Lloyd Land Rover vehicles delivering the gifts directly to the official Mission Christmas warehouse in time for distribution ahead of Christmas Day.

As a thank you to those who donated, everyone who completed an entry form was entered into a prize draw to win a luxury overnight stay for two at Seaham Hall, including spa access and a meal. The winner will be announced in the new year.

We are extremely grateful to everyone who supported the appeal. The kindness and generosity shown by our clients, colleagues and local community highlights the strength of our region and the positive impact we can make when we come together to support those who need it most.
