How does BYD stand out compared to other EV manufacturers?
"BYD stands out against other manufacturers due to the broad range of models from small EV hatchbacks to luxury SUV’s all incorporating the market leading blade batteries which are renowned for safety and efficiency."

What do you think will surprise customers most about BYD vehicles?
"The amount of features and technology BYD includes as standard, like large rotating touchscreens, intelligent parking and 360 degree cameras especially at the price point."

What are you most excited for over the next 12 months?
"I'm looking forward to watching the BYD product line up grow." 

What do you think makes BYD stand out in the electric vehicle market?
"BYD has got it all in-house—batteries, design, tech—so the quality’s high and the price stays competitive. Plus, the brand is big on innovation and sustainability, which really clicks with today’s drivers."
 

How are you and your team preparing to educate customers who may be new to electric vehicles?
"We keep it simple and friendly. Lots of hands-on demos, clear information, and time to answer any questions. Once people test drive an EV, they’re usually sold!"
 

What's been your favourite moment so far at BYD Carlisle?
"Getting into our brand-new showroom and welcoming our first customers was a huge highlight. After all the hard work setting things up, seeing people walk through the doors and get excited about BYD made it all feel real!"

What advice would you give to someone considering their first electric vehicle?
"My advice would be come in and test drive a BYD and experience the benefits of going electric and enjoy a smooth quiet ride of an EV first hand."
 

What’s been your standout moment since joining the BYD Carlisle team?
"My standout moment since joining Lloyd BYD Carlisle has been seeing the positive customer response to the BYD brand. There is a genuine buzz and curiosity around our EV range which is incredibly rewarding to see. Also the welcome and support I have received from all the Lloyd Motor Group staff has made such a difference allowing me to feel part of the team and helped me settle in really quickly."
 

Which BYD model do you think will be the customer favourite and why?
"I think we are really lucky to have such a fantastic range of models to suit all  tastes but the launch of the new BYD Dolphin Surf will undoubtedly become a customer favourite. It offers exceptional value, stylish design and impressive range for a compact EV. With its accessible price point its ideal for both first time EV buyers and families looking to transition to electric without compromising on features or comfort."

What drew you to join the BYD Carlisle team?
"I would say the potential of the brand drew me into Lloyd BYD Carlisle. As soon as the opportunity presented itself, I knew instantly that this is a really exciting brand to be a part of. With Lloyd Motor Group putting their trusted name behind the brand, it gave me confidence that this is going to be to a success. Also, I'm a people person, so to start working with a new team will be great and I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone."
 

Which BYD model do you personally like the most, and why?
"I'll be biased and say the Demo I currently drive, which is a Seal U DM-i Design! From entry level to top spec, the car is packed full of features as standard, such as Panoramic Opening Roof, 360 Camera, Electric, Heated & Ventilated Seats, Electric Tailgate just to name a few. It's such great value for money, plus my 2-year-old daughter absolutely loves the speed of the car when I go fast!"
 

What do you enjoy most about working in automotive sales?
"The buzz of selling a car is like no other! Buying a car is such an exciting feeling for a lot of people and to be at the forefront of that is so satisfying! Whether that is by aiding them through a test drive or just simply talking through spec, once it all clicks into place and the customer is happy, it's a great feeling! I also love speaking to people from all walks of life, I love hearing stories from different people and learning about them."

What does your day to day look like a Sales Administrator?
"As a Sales Administrator, my day-to-day tasks typically revolve around supporting the Sales Team and ensuring smooth and efficient Sales Operations. My day will generally involve the following: Processing customer orders, assisting the sales team, communicating with other departments, preparing documentation plus anything else that crops up along the way. No day is ever the same in Sales Admin which is why I enjoy it so much!"
 

What are you enjoying most about joining the Lloyd BYD Carlisle team?
"It’s exciting having a completely new brand within the group and us all learning about the brand, models and how they like things done – I already feel like a valued member of the team and I’m enjoying how well we are all working together!"
 

Which BYD model do you personally like the most, and why?
"My favourite so far is the BYD Dolphin – I think its quirky and different from other electric vehicles currently on the road. It’s fun and modern but also has a premium feel to it."
