Meet our new Sales Executives at Lloyd Kia Carlisle

Lloyd Motor Group is pleased to announce the appointment of two new Sales Executives, Chris English and Stephen Copland, at Lloyd Kia Carlisle. Their arrival brings additional strength to the team, further enhancing the dealership’s dedication to providing an outstanding customer experience.

Chris and Stephen bring a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to their roles, supporting customers throughout the car-buying process and offering expert advice on the award-winning Kia range. With a shared passion for delivering excellent service, they are committed to helping customers find the perfect vehicle to suit their lifestyle and budget.

Hi Chris, can you tell us a bit about yourself?  

"I'm Chris and I've recently started with Lloyd Kia Carlisle after making the switch from Arnold Clark Hyundai. I'm a Liverpool fan and I lived abroad for around 12 years in a number of different countries around Europe working for Jet2Holidays and Thomas Cook." 

What does a typical day look like in your role as a Lloyd Kia Sales Executive?  

"Aiming to sell cars really, there 's lots more to it but that's the real reason we are all here. Personally, one of my daily tasks is to keep an eye on the cars in the showroom to make sure they are up to date, clean and tidy and have all the correct pricing and information attached to them. We often rearrange the showroom to keep it looking fresh too." 

What are you enjoying most about your new role?  

"I really like the family atmosphere. The team/managers I work with, they're all great and very helpful. Nothing is too much. As I'm new, I've naturally had lots of questions which have all been answered. Also meeting lots of different customers is fun and interesting."

What advice would you give someone wanting to start their career in the automotive industry?  

"Do it, if you like chatting to people and love cars then you really can't go wrong."

What’s your favourite way to relax after a busy workday?  

"Spending time with my fiance and watching/playing football." 

What was your first car and what do you drive now?

"My first car was a Vauxhall Corsa and I'm currently driving a company car which is a Kia Ceed. "

Hi Stephen, can you tell us a bit about yourself?  

"Hello, I am relatively new to the motor trade with 10 years in the trade and I live in Scotland."

What’s your favourite thing about the Kia brand?  

"Modern design with great specification as standard and the 7 year warranty is a great selling point!"

What are you enjoying most about your new role?  

"Dealing with some great loyal Lloyd Motor Group customers with the back up of a great team."

Who or what inspired you to get into automotive sales?  

"After over 20 years in manufacturing environments, I desired a change in direction and have an interest in cars so here we are 10 years on."

What’s your favourite way to spend a weekend?  

"When I am not selling cars, I like to spend time with my family particularly my two nieces which can end up costing me a fortune!"

What was your first car and what do you drive now?  

"My first car was a 1984 MINI and I drive 2 Cars now – A BMW 2 Series and a 20 year old MG."
