The 12th annual Lloyd Blackpool MINI Illumination Convoy held on Sunday 29th October saw over 130 MINI owners come together to celebrate all things Halloween with a spooktactular party held in their Blackpool showroom.

This year's theme was 'A little party never killed nobody' so in true party spirit, devilshly good food & entertainment was enjoyed by all. The food this year was provided by the recently established 'Griddle Girls' who kept everyone happy with their delicious hot pots.

As in previous years, the event was supported by the Fylde Orchestra who kept everyone on their toes with their spooky renditions of halloween classics including Ghost Busters & Thriller. Jim, the orchestra conductor said " Supporting Cash for Kids and playing at the Lloyd MINI Halloween event is the highlight of our performance year & a great pleasure for all our members."

After the entertainment, everyone's attention turned to the prize winners for the best dressed cars, best fancy dress and children's fancy dress. The prizes on offer this year included factory tours at MINI Plant Oxford and a selection of MINI merchandise, and the competition was tough with the standard of costumes being at an all time high.

And not forgetting the final part of the evening - the MINI convoy through the world famous Blackpool Illuminations. Departing from the showroom the 65 car convoy snaked their way to Clifton Drive to join the Illuminations turning heads on the way through.

We would like to thank everyone who joined us this year and supported our event raising money for Cash for Kids, we raised over £380 for children in our local area.
