Lloyd MINI were delighted to hand over the keys to a brand new MINI Countryman S E in June of last year, with the aim of helping their team reach people in need of their care and support throughout Cumbria and the surrounding area.
The vehicle, a MINI Countryman Plug-In Hybrid decorated with the Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw logos, has been out and about across the county over the last 6 months, making an appearance at the Santa Dash, the Christmas Cathedral Service and the annual Colour Run to name just a few events.
Natalie Bingham, Corporate Relationship Co-ordinator from Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, said “Having use of the MINI Countryman has been a real asset to everybody at the hospice. The Clinical Team have been able to use it whilst attending various meetings across the County and the Fundraising Team have made full use of it taking it to a number of local events.
It has a great sized boot which makes it really easy to pack everything in that we need! Not only is it fantastic to drive, the branding on the car helps us raise awareness of the hospice right across Cumbria. We can’t thank Lloyd MINI Carlisle enough for their continued support of Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice.”
Brian Twentyman, Brand Manager at Lloyd Carlisle MINI, said “We are pleased to see that the MINI Countryman has made a difference and has been useful to the team at the Hospice. We look forward to seeing the car around Cumbria over the spring months”.
