Lloyd Kia and Lloyd Volvo South Lakes Sponsor Morecambe Bay Golf Festival
Lloyd Kia and Lloyd Volvo South Lakes were proud to sponsor Morecambe Bay Golf Festival this year!
This year’s festival took place from the 4th-8th of September, and saw players teeing off in the sunshine across the Morecambe Bay area on three different courses: Morecambe Golf Club, Lancaster Golf Club and Heysham Golf Club.
This year, the programme included Men’s Fourballs, Men’s Team Events, an Any Combination Team Event and the 3-Day Festival Trophy, which was won this year by Keith Knight and Richie McPike for the second year running!
Morecambe Bay Golf Festival has gone from strength to strength over the past 8 years, with a continuing increase in entries. Due to the increasing popularity of the festival, within weeks after the completion of the event, entries had reached over 1,200 representing 60% capacity, with golfers from many parts of the United Kingdom taking part.
