Lloyd MINI Local Influencers: Carlisle Brass gets a handle on electric driving
Established in 1986, Carlisle Brass are a designer, manufacturer and distributor of architectural ironmongery. They manufacture an extensive product range that includes door handles, door knobs, lock, latches and much more. Marketing Manager Rebecca Stow recently took part in the Lloyd MINI Local Influencers series.
The local influencers series sees local companies experience and share with us what making the switch to electric driving is really like, read Rebecca’s feedback below.
How did you find driving the MINI Electric?
I loved the car, I had a MINI Cooper S, years ago and it was just the best. So when I got asked to take the MINI Electric I couldn’t turn it down! It was really easy to drive, surprisingly quick too. My kids even thought I was really cool driving it, big bonus.
How easy did you find charging the MINI Electric?
We’re really lucky here at Carlisle Brass that we have charging points on site, so it made it incredibly easy for us to charge the MINI Electric. At the end of Summer 2021, we installed six electric charging points at our HQ, offering a charging facility to all staff and customers who visit us.
Do you think you’ll consider making the switch for your next car?
It’s definitely made me consider going electric, it’s a great car.
