Lloyd MINI Local Influencers: Zebra Electrical go electric

Company News

Carla, from Zebra Electrical, was out and about recently in a MINI Electric from Lloyd Motor Group as part of the Lloyd MINI Local Influencers series. The series sees local companies' experience and share with their followers what making the switch to electric driving is really like.

Zebra Electrical provides electricians to the Lancaster, Morecambe, and South Lakes areas and spends a lot of their time supplying and installing electric charging points for EVs so were really looking forward to actually getting behind the wheel of one and experiencing it for themselves.

As a local business, the team at Zebra Electrical believes that they have a responsibility to the planet, all of their operations are designed to minimise their environmental impact, so the opportunity to experience an emissions-free vehicle really fit the bill!

Read Carla’s review below.

How did you find the range of the MINI Electric?

Zebra Electrical found the MINI Electric range fantastic! They still have the iconic and classic look but with a modern twist! Anyone looking to try out this range for full EV usage will not be disappointed.

How did you find driving the MINI Electric?

Driving the MINI Electric was great fun and easy to drive. Considering it is smaller in size, it is still very agile, smooth and a comfortable drive.

How easy did you find charging the MINI Electric?

To be completely honest, I was a little apprehensive about charging the car initially as it is something I had never done but it was surprisingly straightforward and much easier than I thought. Not only did I feel like it was helping the environment, but it also had much lower running costs, and parking the MINI Electric at shops and in the street was so much easier.

Do you think you’ll be making the switch for your next car?

Yes, definitely! We have already looked up a settlement figure on our existing vehicles and will be looking at making the switch in early 2022.
