Jack and Oliver Prepare to Walk The Big One for Cash For Kids
Following on from Cash for Kids Day 2023 in April, Lloyd Blackpool MINI continue to share some #BIGLOVE by committing to their pledge to support the charity with two of their Sales Executives, Jack and Oliver, taking to Blackpool Pleasure Beach on Friday 9th June to Walk the Big One.
In an aim to raise money for Rock FM Cash for Kids Lancashire, Jack and Oliver will be braving the 235ft climb of the Big One - one of the world’s tallest rollercoasters.
Of the challenge, Jack said:
“I’m feeling very excited for the challenge ahead. The big one is no doubt one of the most iconic rollercoasters in the UK. Having the opportunity to walk up it is like a kids dream come true, being able to raise money for charity whilst doing it just tops it off! I can’t wait to get up there and raise some money!”
Ollie followed on from this telling us:
“I still can’t believe we’re voluntarily walking up one of the tallest rollercoasters in the world but the fact we get to do this whilst raising money for Cash for Kids Lancashire is an opportunity we couldn’t turn down. Thank you so much to everyone who has sponsored us so far for doing this challenge – Fingers crossed it’s not too windy on the day!”
All money raised will be donated directly to Cash For Kids Lancashire with the total being added to the Cash For Kids Day 2023 total which will go towards Cost of Living Grants. These grants will help local families that need help with food, clothing and household energy costs and any other basic needs.
