Lloyd Land Rover Kelso has been lucky enough to have been given the chance to request tickets, on behalf of a selected number of customers, for The Blair Castle Horse Trials in Perthshire.

The prestigious trials will be taking place over the August Bank Holiday weekend, from Thursday 23rd to Sunday 26th of August. Blair is Scotland’s only three-star three-day event and one of only three such events of this level in Britain. Land Rover, which has long been synonymous with equestrian sport, is the main sponsor of the weekend – a continuation of its support of athletes and events across the globe.

Even though equestrian sport dominates the four days, with competitors ranging from Olympic champions to local Pony Club children, there is something for everyone – even those who are not especially horsing crazy! The Bruadar Country Fair takes place on the Saturday and Sunday, showcasing a wide range of countryside pursuits including falconry, gun dog training and even quad bike stunt racing! There will also be over 200 trade stands attending with clothing, jewellery and even fine art, alongside a large food hall with everything from handmade chocolates, organic and rare breed meats, pastries and baked goods to fine wine.

Guests of Land Rover Kelso will be treated to priority parking, complimentary refreshments at the Land Rover Owners hospitality area overlooking the cross-country course and will have the opportunity to try out the purpose-built Land Rover Experience course on site.

The event is the ideal opportunity for Lloyd Kelso customers to take part in #ExploreYourWorld – a Lloyd initiative designed to encourage local people and families to share activities that promote health and well-being.
