Lloyd Select Kelso Sponsored Craig Earns Spot at World Champs

Craig Anderson, the Taekwon-Do athlete sponsored by Lloyd Select Kelso, recently paid a visit to the showroom to share some exciting news. Since his last visit, Craig has continued his outstanding form, adding another string of medals to his growing collection and securing selection for two international championships with the Scotland team.

Competing at the UKTC Scottish Championships in April, Craig claimed silver in Patterns and gold in Sparring. He followed this with a strong showing at the Momentum Taekwondo 1 to 1 event in North Lanarkshire in May, where he took home two silver medals. In June, at the Mightyfist competition in Dundee, Craig added bronze medals in both Patterns and Sparring to his tally.

Since his last visit to the dealership, Craig has also been selected to represent Scotland at two major international events. He will compete at the 2026 ITFU European Open Championship in Corigliano Rossano, Calabria, Italy, from 18 to 20 September, before travelling to San Luis Potosi, Mexico, for the 2026 WITC Open World ITF Taekwon-Do Championship from 30 October to 1 November.

Craig will also be competing individually at two further events on home soil this autumn: the 2026 UKTC UK Championship at Wishaw Sports Centre on 27 September, and the 2026 WITC Professor Chang Ung Cup Open International at Ravenscraig Sports Facility on 18 October.
