Alongside the demands of training and everyday life, Rosie has shown strong focus and determination in her approach to the sport. Her dedication, both in and out of the ring, can be seen in her steady progress and growing list of achievements, highlighting her as one of Scotland’s most promising young athletes.
Read on as she reflects on her boxing journey so far…
Rosie, since we last spoke, how has your boxing journey been progressing?
"Since we last spoke, my boxing journey has been really positive. I’ve been training consistently, improving my skills, and developing both physically and mentally as a boxer. Im excited for what's next."
Have there been any standout moments or achievements that you’re particularly proud of recently?
"A couple of standout moments I’m really proud of are being selected to represent Scotland at the World Cup in Thailand and winning gold at the Porto Box Cup in Portugal. Both were amazing experiences and big milestones for me."
What motivates you to keep pushing yourself and improving in the sport?
"What motivates me is the drive to keep improving and pushing my limits. I want to be the best I can be, and representing my country gives me extra motivation every time I step into the ring."
Tell us, in what ways has the support from Lloyd Select Kelso helped you with your development and training?
"The support from Lloyd Select Kelso has been a massive help. It means I’m able to train full time with the Scotland team in Glasgow, which has had a huge impact on my development and allows me to fully focus on progressing in the sport."
Looking ahead, what goals are you currently working towards, and what’s coming up next for you?
"Looking ahead, my main goal right now is to win my fourth British title in a row. Alongside that, I’m focused on continuing to improve, gaining more international experience, and making the most of the competitions coming up."
