Meet Tim Aspinall, INEOS Grenadier Brand Manager
Lloyd Motor Group has announced a new partnership with INEOS Automotive. This partnership will see one of the UK’s first INEOS Grenadier sales and service retail sites opening in Carlisle, Cumbria. Tim Aspinall, a local 4x4 and vehicle off-road specialist, has joined Lloyd Motor Group as our INEOS Grenadier Brand Manager. We spoke to him about his background with 4x4s and what his plans are for the brand.
Tell us a bit about yourself:
I am passionate about proper 4X4s and pick-up trucks and have worked in the motor trade since the age of 12. For many years I worked with the Toyota Hilux, (often known as Hilux Tim).
I am often seen chasing my dog across a muddy field or hanging onto the reins riding the horses and enjoying the countryside. At work I help people with all things Grenadier, meeting customers at the garage, at theirs, and even at auction marts. Helping people to choose the perfect Grenadier for them.
What made you join Lloyd Motor Group?
The opportunity to develop from scratch with a brand new 4X4 vehicle and dealership was an unmissable opportunity for me. I am also looking forward to working for a local, family-owned business with a great reputation for exceptional customer service and business performance.
What were your first impressions of the INEOS Grenadier?
My first thought of the Grenadier was that it’s a rugged, proper honest 4X4 vehicle, that has everything you need, and nothing you don’t. It’s an unconventional vehicle which uses the world’s very best suppliers, and for me, the ultimate offroad machine.
What are your plans for the brand?
I am determined to build an unconventional, offroad dealership, that has a reputation as the best place to buy your Grenadier from and I’m excited to meet lots of wonderful characters, offering them the warmest of welcomes and helping them choose the Grenadier that’s exactly right for them.
