Lloyd BMW Carlisle proud sponsors of ‘A Taste of France’ at Farlam Hall.

Lloyd BMW Carlisle is proud to sponsor the ‘A Taste of France’ event at Farlam Hall, hosted by their very own Michelin star awarded Chef Patron Hrishikesh Desai, along with their special guest, Piers Mortimer from Corney & Barrow, one of the oldest independent wine merchants in the UK.

The sponsorship comes as we shape a new partnership with Farlam Hall, and a new relationship with Chef Patron Hrishikesh and the team, combining the worlds of fine dining with luxury driving. The future will see us sponsor upcoming events at Farlam as well as hosting BMW driving experiences featuring our luxury class range of cars, including the BMW i7, BMW XM, BMW X7 and the BMW 8 Series. This partnership will allow two businesses renowned for luxury to come together, and emphasise their shared commitment to providing premium experiences.

A Tast of France Event

Experience the very finest of classic French gastronomy and taste the very best wines from the world-famous wine regions of France with ‘A Taste of France’ at Farlam Hall.

Being classically trained at the prestigious college Institute Paul Bocuse in Lyon, and having spent many delightful years exploring France, Hrishikesh has used his extensive knowledge of French cuisine to design a classic 5 course Tasting Menu, while Piers takes customers on a magical tour of the best wine regions of France throughout the evening, with the perfect wine pairing served with each mouth-watering course.

Farlam Hall Hotel & Restaurant

Farlam hall is a luxurious 4-star hotel with all the charm of a traditional country house. Close to Brampton and the iconic Hadrian’s Wall, this is a place of relaxation, effortless luxury, and fascinating stories that time almost forgot. Farlam sits proudly on the path less trodden. Those who discover it don’t tend to forget it. From the moment you turn off the winding road into the estate, you’ll feel more at ease. The air feels a little crisper, the hustle and bustle a little further away. But while Farlam Hall is a place of relaxation, it’s also a place of discovery. This historic setting has many stories to tell, and many secrets to share.

Meet the Chef

A celebrated star of the North West food scene, Hrishikesh’s reputation for culinary brilliance precedes him and now he’s extending his talents and leading the way in delivering the ultimate guest experience for your visit to Farlam Hall. Offering the warmest of Cumbrian welcomes across the hotel and beautiful Cedar Tree restaurant, Hrishikesh realises a life-long ambition of running a country house hotel, saying “I fell in love with Farlam Hall the moment I arrived, and I want as many people as possible to share that feeling. It’s a truly special place, steeped in history and understated elegance. I can’t wait to welcome guests to become part of our story.”

Hrishikesh began his career winning the Roux Scholarship in 2009 and working in a number of Michelin starred kitchens. He shot to fame after reaching the final of the BBC’s Great British Menu and has since established his position as one of the country’s hottest talents in the kitchen, achieving a host of AA rosettes and a Michelin star himself whilst overseeing the Gilpin Hotel and Lake House’s three restaurants HRiSHi, Gilpin Spice and Gilpin Grill.

We are delighted to be part of this event, and look forward to working with Farlam in the future.
