Hi Corey. First thing’s first - tell us a little bit about yourself!

A bit about me — I’m a lad from Burnley and a massive Burnley FC fan. I’ve been selling cars for the past 7 years, and I really enjoy it. I’m also really into rugby league and horse racing. Outside of work, I love spending time with my partner and our daughter, Ivy.

Can you tell us a bit about your career/experience so far?

I have recently joined Lloyd from Land Rover where I spent 4 years left as Senior Sales Executive.

What qualities do you believe make a good Corporate Sales Manager?

I believe what makes a great Corporate Sales Manager is someone who truly understands the needs of their customers — someone who values existing business relationships while always looking for opportunities to help them grow. It's also about being able to step up and excel when it counts and having the drive and initiative to attract new business.

What do you love most about your job at Lloyd Motor Group?

One of the things I love most about the Lloyd Motor Group is the culture — it genuinely feels like home. Even though I’ve only recently joined, it already feels like I’ve been here my whole working career. Everyone across the dealership has been incredibly friendly and helpful. It was a real pleasure meeting Chris Burke and Sam Lloyd during my first week, and Mark, our Head of Business, has made me feel like part of the team from day one. I’ve also had great support from Jake and the rest of the senior team, which has made the transition seamless.

What does a typical day at work look like for you?

A typical day at work for me starts with a nice coffee from my Burnley FC mug to get me going, then I dive straight into the day. I’m always up and about, making sure to get out of my chair to speak with clients and ensure they’re being well looked after. Then work my way through my diary and follow up on quotes.

Do you drive an EV? If so tell us about your experience?

I currently drive the iX1, which is fully electric. I’m really loving the performance and the savings on the vehicle. It’s something I never thought I’d enjoy, but I’m genuinely loving the full electric experience.

What are you most looking forward to for the next 12 months?

Over the next 12 months, I’m looking forward to fully immersing myself in my new role, building up my customer base, and delivering an outstanding customer experience along the way. I’m excited to see how far I can push myself while being surrounded by such a successful team.
