Meet Chris Herrmann, our Sales Manager at Lloyd Select Newcastle!
With vast experience from our Newcastle BMW dealership, we spent some time getting to know Chris as well as finding out more about his new adventure at Lloyd Select Newcastle.

Tell us a bit about yourself?
Chris: " I have been with the company 8 years, very happy in and out of work, play hard work hard mentality. Fantastic wife and three amazing kids – they’re my world.
I’ve been in the industry for 12 years now, before that I owned bars and cafes."
What advice would you give to someone looking to start their career in the motor trade?
Chris: "If I was giving advice to somebody keen to start out in the motor trade, I would tell them to carefully research the company they intend to work for and the opportunities they will provide. It is vitally important to end up with the right employers. I would advise them that it will be tough but assure them that the highs will outweigh the lows!!"
Tell me about your typical day at Lloyd Select Newcastle?
Chris: "A typical day at Lloyd Select Newcastle will begin with a chat setting our goals for the day. This is obviously done with a coffee!! The pitch and presentation of the site are an important part of our daily routine. After this, I will tend to have a chat with our workshop controller Bart and our prep manager Peter to see where we are with our stock. The rest of the day will be devoted to sourcing new stock and helping the sales team deliver a true Lloyd experience.
