Bethany Andrew, Accounts/Sales Admin Apprentice

Bethany Andrew, Accounts/Sales Admin Apprentice

Bethany Andrew - Accounts/Admin Apprentice

Why did you choose to do an apprenticeship at Lloyd Motor Group?

"I chose to do an apprenticeship at Lloyd Motor Group because whilst I am interested in pursuing a career in accounts, I also wanted some day-to-day variety and to learn additional skills in my work. Lloyd Motor Group was recommended to me by a friend as a supportive network where no two days are the same, so when I saw the opportunity advertised, I knew I'd be stupid not to apply!"

What's the best thing about training on the job rather than just in a classroom?

"The best thing about training on the job as well as in the classroom is that I get to put my learning into practice straight away and see the theoretical side being used in real time work. It's can be easy for learning to become monotonous when you're sat in a classroom all the time, but being able to put my learning into practice reinforces my newly learnt knowledge and keeps it fresh in my head! It also helps me see the areas where I might be struggling, but being in the workplace means when I do need help all I have to do is ask!"
