Tell us about yourself

I’ve lived on the Fylde Coast my whole life, and honestly, I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. I’m married to my wife Sarah, and while we don’t have kids, our pug Poppy definitely keeps us entertained. Outside of work, I’m a lifelong Manchester United supporter and I try to get to most of the home games when I can. I’ve also got a real soft spot for cars, especially BMWs. I own a 2007 Z4M and I’ve even been over to Munich to visit the BMW factory, museum, and Welt, which was definitely more exciting for me than for Sarah! When it comes to travel, I’ll admit I’m a bit of a hotel snob, and my favourite stays so far have been at the Ikos resorts, they’re just incredible!

Tell us about your career

Before joining the motor trade, I spent several years self-employed in the late-night industry, working in clubs and bars. I started out as a DJ before moving into event management and promotion, collaborating with iconic brands such as Hed Kandi and Ministry of Sound. I then moved into the automotive industry, spending seven years as a BMW Sales Executive before taking on a new challenge in commercial vehicle sales.

What makes a good Corporate Sales Manager?

Passion for the brand is key! I’m driven to deliver the best possible solutions for my customers and having worked across a range of industries, I’ve gained valuable insight into how business is conducted at all levels, which helps me build strong, lasting relationships.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

For me, it’s all about the people both customers and colleagues. I love working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same. It keeps things exciting and rewarding.

What does a typical day look like?

I’m always up early and the first task of the day is walking our dog Poppy. I like to arrive at work by 8am to get a head start on the day. After our morning meeting, I spend much of my time out visiting local businesses and meeting clients. It’s busy, varied, and I wouldn’t have it any other way though I do make sure I’m always early to bed!

Favourite car?

That’s an easy one — the BMW 507. It’s a timeless classic.

Do you drive an EV?

I’ve driven EVs from other brands in the past, but nothing comes close to my demonstrator BMW i5. The range is fantastic, and the comfort and refinement are in a league of their own. I’ll admit it took me a while to warm up to EVs, but BMW has completely converted me. Plus, the benefits for company owners and company car drivers are huge.

What are you looking forward to next year?

I’m really looking forward to getting out and meeting more local business owners  and, of course, seeing Manchester United climb back into the top four!
