We sat down with Louise to find out more about her role and what drives her to deliver a first-class experience, time and time again...


Hi Louise, could you tell us a bit about your background and how you came to join Lloyd BMW Blackpool?

"I previously worked for BMW in Manchester for nine years, where I gained a strong foundation in customer service and aftersales support within a premium brand environment. I’m originally from Preston, and after relocating back in 2012, I was keen to continue my career with BMW. That’s when the opportunity came up to join Lloyd BMW Blackpool, which felt like the perfect fit both professionally and personally."

Can you talk us through a typical day within your role?

"A typical day is very customer-focused and fast-paced. It starts with greeting customers and checking their vehicles in, making sure I fully understand their requirements. Throughout the day, I keep customers updated on the progress of their vehicle, liaising closely with the workshop team. I also create estimates, manage any additional work that may arise, and generate invoices. At the end of the process, I carry out the handover, ensuring the customer is fully informed about the work completed and leaves satisfied."

What do you enjoy most about working at Lloyd BMW Blackpool?

"For me, it’s the balance between customer interaction and teamwork. I really enjoy building relationships with customers and ensuring they have a positive experience. At the same time, the camaraderie among colleagues makes a big difference—everyone supports each other to get the job done. There’s also a real sense of satisfaction in seeing a job through from start to finish and ending the day with a happy customer."
 

What does customer satisfaction mean to you, particularly when representing a premium brand like BMW?

"Customer satisfaction means delivering a level of service that reflects the high standards of the BMW brand. I take pride in representing BMW and always aim to provide an experience that is professional, efficient, and personal. It’s about going the extra mile, communicating clearly, and making sure every customer feels valued and confident in the service they’ve received."

Can you share a recent experience where you felt you made a real difference to a customer?

"One example that stands out is when a customer came in unexpectedly with an urgent issue and was clearly worried about being without their vehicle. I took the time to reassure them, kept them fully updated throughout the process, and worked closely with the workshop to prioritise the repair. By the end of the day, we had their vehicle sorted, and they were incredibly grateful for the communication and support. It’s moments like that—where you can turn a stressful situation into a positive experience—that really make the role rewarding."
